The tire storage room should be well-ventilated, but with minimum circulation of air. Also, the tires cannot be stored in rooms where they come in contact with harmful solvents, oil or grease. It's a bad idea to store tires on heat-absorbent surfaces such as black asphalt, and also storage near reflective surfaces must be totally avoided. The rule of thumb says that tires should be stored in an upright position to prevent any kind of distortion.
